2013 Horse show dates.
May 11th, 2013, June 15,
2013 and August 10th 2013. The Brown County Horseman's Association is once again looking forward to 2013 show season in hopes of partnering with you for our 9th annual Open Horse Show Summer Series. Our 2013 show dates are May 11th, June 15th and August 10th.
As a non-profit organization our goal is to assist our ever growing county Jr. Fair horse projects as well as promote fun and good sportsmanship among horse owners. Over the past 14 years we have raised money to provide a modern and safe facility for the youth of our county. Many young men and women have benefited from our efforts and the numbers continue to grow every year. An ongoing goal is to raise enough funds to cover our back show arena by the Jr. Fair horse barn on our beautiful Brown County fairgrounds. By doing this it would provide an opportunity for many other groups and organizations to utilize this space as well provide for our Jr. Fair youth horse projects
Other animal departments have had a larger means to raise funds for their youth participants either through their food booth sales during the week of our county fair or through the sale of the market animals. The horse program however, only has what we, as the Brown County Horseman's Association, have been doing over the past years and that is the summer horse shows, the annual baby show at the Brown County Fair, the St Jude “Turn and Burn”contesting show on July 13, 2013 and now we are offering this year an Open Fun Show on May 18, 2013.
This year we will again be holding our shows at the Brown County Fairgrounds in Georgetown, Ohio. We understand that in this ever changing economy funds are limited for everyone. Our shows have been successful due to the generosity and kindness of our sponsors. BCHA would again like for you to join us in our efforts in 2013. Without your help and support we could not be successful in helping our youth. As a sponsor your name will be announced during the show, printed on over 2000 show bills and on yard signs displayed during the show. For large sponsors a banner is made and displayed. We will also be advertising your business or name on our website, where you will be named as a sponsor. With our five shows this summer and our annual baby show at the Brown County Fair, this is a great opportunity for you to advertise your business.
